The new $980 Ophidia Case for AirPods Max by Gucci is now available, bringing the price of Apple’s $549 AirPods Max almost double. The online-exclusive case was created using recycled eWaste and raw materials and “archive-inspired design features,” according to Gucci.
The Ophidia is a great example of a more formal-looking case. It has an adjustable shoulder strap with a 23.6-inch drop, brown leather accents, gold-toned hardware, and a snap button closure to keep the AirPods Max secure.
