You get outstanding performance from AMD’s Ryzen 5500 processors in a 16-inch chassis for less than $2,000 The results were excellent for all the games we tested, even at the native resolution of 2560x 1600. The 165Hz display will allow you to fully harness the Legion 5 Pro’s potential.
The 16:10 screen is the highlight of the Legion 5 Pro, despite its performance. This screen is rare on the gaming laptop market. It also allows for more multitasking, which is important if you plan to use the Legion 5 Pro daily. It is also very easy to use with its 1.5mm travel and four-zone backlighting.
The main problem with the Legion is its battery life. In our testing, we only managed to get about four and a quarter hours of continuous usage. Although it isn’t the worst gaming laptop we have ever used, it isn’t as bad as the G15. It does charge extremely fast thanks to the 300W power brick.
